Position Overview:

We are seeking a leasing consultant to work with our Papago Management team to develop leasing marketing strategies, fully participate in outreach marketing, resident events, and ensure positive resident experience.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma required.

  • Direct Multi-family Industry experience (1-2 years); previous experience in the Chicagoland mid-rise leasing environment is preferred.

  • Must be a licensed leasing agent (when needed).

Skills:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills; this role is directly responsible for lease administration onsite and requires thorough attention to detail.

  • Direct Multi-family Industry experience (1-2 years); previous experience in the Chicagoland mid-rise leasing environment is preferred.

  • Strong computer proficiency: direct experience with Appfolio is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, online inquiries, and in-person traffic.

  • Coordinate and lead property tours, lease apartments and prepare leasing files for new and renewal leases.

  • Conduct leasing file audits.

  • Stay informed on the surrounding market, community amenities, and floor plans available.

  • Perform market surveys of the surrounding market and communicate to the Community Manager.
